Opening Session, Ronald Grieve Lecture followed by President’s Buffet Reception.
12.30 pm
We will depart by coach for the ‘Estancia’ Los Patricios in Iraceo. There we will be treated to demonstrations of horseriding and other gaucho skills to aspects of Argentine culture including an asado (spit roast).
We will eat and drink Argentine style and be entertained with local music and dance.
6.00 pm
Dress: Jacket & Tie suggested
We will leave the hotel for a half-hour drive to the magnificent San Soucis Palace. Built 100 years ago by a leading Argentine family, as a tribute to Versailles by the French architect Rene Sargent, lovingly restored by the Durini family.
We will dine in the great hall of the palace and enjoy a very special musical entertainment.
This will mark the end of the formal proceedings of the conference.
